About This Project
Proximity Technologies is part of the UK Proximity Group, which also manages Proximity Healthcare. They offer staffing and consulting solutions, assisting their clients by deploying experienced consultants and contractors at their premises or permanently. The UK company is subdivided into four business streams, namely consulting, placements, outsourcing, and technology services. They report that their corporate partnerships provide them an edge when recruiting consultants.
They offer recruitment services in various industries, including agriculture, banking, education, financial services, healthcare, insurance, investment management, logistics, manufacturing, media, mining, oil and gas, retail, and telecommunications. Their competencies include data analysis, business analysis, DevOps consulting, dotnet development, enterprise architecture, executive consulting, test analysis, java development, project development, scrum mastery, system analysis, and QA engineering.
Design
We designed the website using custom post types in WordPress (CMS) to easily add job listings. They can apply and attach their curriculum vitae to their application. We assist them in South Africa remotely, overcoming cross-cultural barriers to maximise recruitment efficiency and website performance.
Notice the header of their website. If you hover over the Company Overview, you’ll notice that the Who We Are and Our Approach page options appear, which will redirect you to their respective pages. In addition, when hovering over the Competencies and Industries buttons, a drop-down menu listing the industries and competencies Proximity Technologies practices in will appear. The Careers option takes candidates to a page listing available roles.
When you click on an available role, you will be redirected to a thorough job description, explaining the key competencies and duties of the role. At the bottom, a contact form appears, where candidates submit their CVs and personal particulars. This is relayed to the recruitment team’s email through the dedicated server the website is hosted on.
