Horizon Insights Website Design
About This Project
The Horizon Insights website was built by SEO Master. They publish news, information, and insights for the investment community about private companies people have invested in. This information is usually not freely available to the public and is communicated to Horizon Insights by the organisation, which relays the information to clients via the website.
The website acts as a two-pot platform: one section publishes curated news articles on private companies and aims to cover stories on market trends, sector growth, product launches, M&A activity, capital raising, and more. The second section is called the Insights Community. This community is a platform where companies can communicate with existing stakeholders on the latest news and updates.
Features
The website was designed in WordPress, a renowned CMS (content management system) where we built landing pages and blog posts. The site was designed with mobile optimisation and optimal functionality in mind. We designed login screen infrastructure to allow users to access their information securely.
The Insights Community has a specially designed form that collects user information through the registration process. Some information collected includes their name, country of residence, email, and passport, which is added to a database. Before users can register, they must also agree to the terms of use by checking an Agree box.
The Horizon Insights website organises information through various menu structures. If you hover over the Explore News item in the header, you’ll see that the heading expands into a list of pages: sectors, product innovation, M&A, and capital raises. The sectors section is further split into sections labeled renewable energy, biotech, technology and energy storage.
Design
The website was designed using a customised WordPress theme. The company chose a blue colour scheme, which we embedded into all their website content using CSS. At the bottom, you’ll spot a footer containing useful links, such as their privacy policy, cookies policy, disclaimer, and an option inviting companies to advertise with them. A contact button is included in both the header and footer. We also host their domain on a dedicated server.
We’re proud we’ve collaborated with Horizon Insights, one of the globe’s most noteworthy investment websites. Some of their supported sectors include EdTech, FinTech, startups, AI, bioenergy, and more.
